MiniCube Basic configurations

The basic configuration can be ordered with just one item number and always consists of the following components

Minkels and Legrand have combined power distribution, cooling, housing and mechanical infrastructure to create an all-in-one solution. This makes the MiniCube a complete and server room in one rack. The MiniCube does not depend on the room where it is located and can be implemented in almost any room in a company. No drastic alterations are needed to the building. 

The configuration

The basic configurations are classified according to the IT capacity per rack, based upon 2 kW or 3,5 kW per MiniCube. A basic configuration consists of:

 •Rack, suitable for installing IT-equipment

•Cooling unit build on the top of the rack

•UPS system to ensure continuity

•PDU, connected to the UPS - the IT-equipment can be fed from this PDU

MiniCube Expansions

The MiniCube has been designed with simplicity, reliability and (cost-)efficiency in mind. The solution is so easy that the basic configuration can be ordered with just one item number. Of course, there are a number of options and accessories available to expand the basic configuration. 

Expansion modules for the MiniCube:

•Extra Basic or Intelligent PDU - a B-feed can be established using this extra PDU

•Extra 19-inch Basic PDU (region dependant) for powering auxiliary equipment

•SNMP remote mgt card for the UPS
