As a tribute to loved ones, whether that’s friends, family, neighbours, nurses or doctors - DP Building Systems are giving an opportunity to name their new Universal Fast Charging Cables in support of Cancer Research UK.

Specialist construction, mechanical and electrical supplier, DP Building Systems, have an exclusive and exciting corporate partnership with Cancer Research UK, and they are just about to launch the first two tech products in a very personal way with the ‘Name a Cable’ campaign.

So where does the personalisation come into it?

The ‘Name a Cable’ campaign is launching alongside the product release of a Universal 5-in-1 USB Fast Charging Cable (RRP £9.99), and Universal 5-in-1 Data Transfer USB Fast Charging Cable (RRP £19.99) available to purchase and personalise from November.

To get involved in the 'Name a Cable' campaign, simply follow the step by step instructions below:

 1. First and foremost, decide on who you would like to nominate - whether that's a family member who has beaten or has said no thank you to cancer, a neighbour who has supported you this year or a nurse that looked after you or a loved one this year.

 2. Once you've made the important decision on who that special person is, you will need to visit www.dpbuildings.co.uk/cruk, where you will be able to nominate your loved one, and also make a donation to Cancer Research UK.

 3. Once your donation has been made, and your special person's name is submitted. You will get an "Honour Off " card which will feature the name of the cable, plus a personalised thank you message from Cancer Research UK.

Please note, 100% of the funds will be going to Cancer Research UK and this is not a profitable promotion.

Rob White, Commercial Director DP Building Systems Ltd commented: “Over the years, family and friends of DP Building Systems have been affected by cancer, and that’s why we have decided to support Cancer Research UK.

“We hope that the ‘Name a Cable’ campaign will generate additional donations to the charity, help people across the nation celebrate and remember the lives of loved ones, plus show support for nurses, doctors, specialists…and anyone who has been involved in beating cancer. We want to ensure that this experience and the products purchased are as personal as possible, and support Cancer Research UK as best as we can right now”.

The partnership has a clear focus of raising £100,000 of funds over the next two years at an extremely critical time for cancer research. The donations which Cancer Research UK receive are extremely important in supporting their pioneering work into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer. The charity is estimating a £160m drop in income this year as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. For every product purchased, a donation will go directly towards helping to reduce this shortfall.

The products will be available to purchase from November 2020, please visit https://www.dpbuildingsystems.co.uk/Cancer-Research-UK to find out more.
